August 29,2003- Diversity adds strength to All Points, Realtors
The world has diversity-you have to accept it, embrace it. There
are a lot of different people out there and they have different
needs and concerns.
It's no different in real estate. Bring together a group of people
with diverse backgrounds-but with the same high level of energy
and commitment to service-and you can have an exciting, effective
real estate firm. It's the key to success for All Points, Realtors
in Scarborough.
"Diversity is our strength," says Sandra Murray, CRB, and broker/owner
of All Points. "We have six full-time associates with diverse backgrounds,
educations and interests. Our experience ranges from my 25 years
to our recently license assistant year. Our homes span the coast
from Biddeford to Freeport.
Energy and Commitment to diverse individual clients.
"We all love what we do and with the support of Office Administrator
Kristy Beaulieu, we have entered into over 125 contracts in our
first nine months of business! How? With energy that's contagious,
a passion for what we have chosen to do, and unsurpassed commitment
to each of our individual clients needs."
Sandra has the most experience on the staff. The CRB after her
name means she's a Certified Real Estate Broker Manager. She is
one of only five realtors in the 800-member Portland Board of Realtors
who has earned that designation. She also has earned a Masters degree
in Marketing Management and a Ph.D. in organizational psychology.
She works with a varied client base and enjoys the diversity.
Kevin Cloutier, a top producer for many years in the Portland
market, specializes in commercial properties and development in
addition to his repeat clientele. Kevin has an accounting background;
and prior to becoming a realtor, owned his own business.
Anna Johnson, a seasoned realtor and previously a chef and restaurant
owner, speaks five languages and is certified to work with international
clients.
Alissa Pashko, an accomplished athlete and avid outdoorswoman
and hiker has found her niche as a buyer specialist and closing
coordinator.
Sarah Plummer grew up in Scarborough, has been licensed for several
years and enjoys sport fishing when she isn't busy with her clients
and growing family.
Michelle Whalen and her family enjoy splitting their time between
heir Portland area home and their lakes region getaway. Michelle
was previously in management with a telecommunications company.
"Our clientele is diverse, so it's important that we are diverse,"
Sandra says. "We can work with a great variety of people."
All of the associates have a commitment to providing information
of their clients, even for people who are not clients.
"If you go to our website, you can send in a request for a free
market analysis of your property," Sandra says. "We have a lot of
requests for that and we go to the town hall and check on deeds,
past sales and a whole market analysis. We send the analysis back
by e-mail within 48 hours. Hundreds of people have taken advantage
of it. We also offer complimentary home searches. If a prospective
buyer e-mails us with their new home criteria, we search the market
and e-mail or send them profiles of all the homes that meet their
needs.
"People often tell us that we give them so much more than other
companies and we do it as a service. We are committed to going the
extra mile and providing unparalleled service to help our clients
and prospective clients. Our extra effort seems to be noticed and
appreciated."
Sandra moved to Scarborough in 2002, but previously vacationed
here for 24 summers. Her previous 15 years were spent in Vermont,
so she knows New England. She's been president of a group of Century
21 offices and vice president of two real estate firms of more than
2,000 agents.
Currently, the real estate market is strong, but it's not quite
as strong as it was in 2002, according to Sandra. "The marketing
time for a property is, say, 10 percent longer than it was a year
ago, but that was when it was so strong."
To find out more, call All Points, Realtors at 883-5096, stop
by the office at 674 US Route One in Scarborough, or visit the website
at allpointsrealtors.com.

January 24, 2003 - All Points, Realtors to be Team of Top Professionals
Scarborough real estate firm starts strong, has plans for growth
Every real estate company is the same, right?
Wrong.
There are differences that are important to the customers and
there are differences that are important to the people working there.
Just as every restaurant has its own atmosphere and chefs, every
real estate office gets the job done a little differently.
In December, Sandra Murray opened All Points, Realtors at 674
US Route One in Scarborough to provide her special brand of real
estate service for the Greater Portland area.
Sandra's plan is to have eight to ten of the top real estate agents
in the area, all working to provide the best service possible. So
far, three agents (Kevin Cloutier, Anna Johnson and Sarah Plummer)
and an office administrator (Kristy Beaulieu) have joined the team,
the company has multiple listings and its first sales were in January.
This is just the beginning.
Sandra has experience in spades. Before moving to Scarborough
last spring, she vacationed here for 24 summers. Her last 15 years
were spent in Vermont, so she knows New England. She's been president
of a Century 21 office and vice president of two real estate firms
of more than 2,000 agents.
Sandra is a candidate for and will soon be a Certified Residential
Broker, the highest certification in the real estate industry and
will be only the fourth broker with a C.R.B. designation in the
Portland Board of Realtors. She has a B.S. in psychology, and M.S.
in marketing management and a Ph.D. (abd) in organizational psychology.
It's a track record of success and accomplishments.
And all of that means nothing to you unless she does her job to
help you buy or sell a house.
Sandra works with clients to help them with their real estate
needs but her immediate priority is to develop a team of the most
accomplished real estate professionals to share in the success of
the company.
One good example of this is her familiarity with new technology.
Visit www.allpointsrealtors.com and you'll find lots of information
that will help you buy or sell a home. You can look up properties
to see what's for sale in your area and in your price range.
If you like, you can enter information about a property and receive
a FREE cost market analysis (CMA) by return email within 48 hours.
It's something that more than 200 people have taken advantage of
so far.
All Points Realtors also has a quarterly newsletter available
to interested people, which is full of information to help you buy
or sell a property.
Sandra is even setting up a non-profit foundation to set aside
a portion of the company revenue from every home sold by All Points,
Realtors. Once a year, the money will be used to help someone in
our community buy their first home. Sandra is a believer in giving
back. "We are fortunate to have the opportunity to assist many clients
who have built tremendous equity in their homes and properties.
In appreciation, we'd like to help someone get started in their
homeownership journey."
"In addition to providing the public with the highest levels of
real estate brokerage service, part of our mission is to bring new
programs to the area," Sandra continued. "I am honored to have been
joined by such professional brokers and associated, and am encouraged
with the business we have generated in just five weeks."
But Sandra Murray is ready to do more. Don't doubt it. Call her
at 883-5096.
